Finding Peace in Nature’s Resilience

It is one of those beautiful days of a winter season when everything seems to be aligned in a moderate way, the sun does not hurt, is more inviting and the environment is filled with sounds and songs of the birds.

Who knows among these flying creatures are even those birds who may have migrated from miles beyond the Vindhyas, way above the Ganges and the glaciers of Himalayas.

Spreading abundance of pleasantness in the environment.

Now have a look at this wild growth, this is my backyard, one corner of a water body on which the municipal corporation seems to be in a deep slumber. An area on which many encroachers have set their eyes, however as the climate crisis loom large, even they are forced to keep their motives in check.

Anytime I find myself, struggling grappling with issues of my head and heart, I make a way to this corner of my house, stand here and admire the resilience of this wild plants ,the castor, ark, lantana plants ,amidst them the bushy Neem tree ,give its shape and density , I find this is little different from the regular neem trees I have seen so far.

All kinds of birds chirping and in between squirrels running around.

These wild plants taught me, that there is no one taking care of them, attending to their need for water, soil or manure, in addition the weather play its own tactics based on its ever-changing moods, yet they stand tall in defiance against all odds. Swinging along and blooming as per their season, they don’t give up nor surrender but move with the flow of nature.

Reflecting on it for few minutes, and I was filled with a deep sense of calm and gratitude.

From the wisdom of Alber Einstein.

Look deep into nature and you will understand everything better

Anytime you need that clarity

Take a walk in nature, spend some time with yourself amidst nature or simply focus and look at the shapes and colors of each plant, this practice will not only heal you deep within but may fill you with a sense of calm ,that’s how powerful nature is and its impact.

More power to you and your well being
