I don’t like the gloomy, dark days of the monsoon when there is no sight of the sun, and it incessantly rains.
On one such annoying day, I was walking in the front yard of my house, only to be lifted by the lush green around me.
I paused and looked above and was reminded of the day I brought these plants from the nursery.
I realized how these plants have grown with me, and stand witness to so many of my thoughts and out loud ideas I’ve been sharing.
Sometimes I journal in my head, thinking and overthinking, losing track of time and walking hundreds of steps, lost in the moment yet mindful of my walk, where I end up, gathering excellent ideas for my work.
The best lessons on Resilience I’ve learned from these plants that stand silently in the sun and in the rain, in humidity and in the wind, yet they never stop adapting, for they seem to know that there is no other way out of this maze called change.
Join me for a walk here
