There was a mild conflict between a distant cousin and another sibling, in between I was the most impacted.
Why ?
An HSP- a highly sensitive person, and also someone with very weak boundaries which grasps things like a sponge, however, find it very difficult to let go.
With such traits dominating, I’ve always remained at the receiving end of lot of things, and in a constant state of angst and overwhelm.
It was the practice of mindfulness combined with reflection that taught me the right approach to tackle issues that do not belong to me and the most effective ways to mind my own business, instead of staying enmeshed in the business of others.
This guided Meditation is what I came up with based on what I’ve learnt as a mindfulness practitioner.
This practice has two parts to it.
First – You bring your mind to a sense of calm ,which can be through a guided meditation
Second – A key question you can ask, both inside the meditation practice and outside of the practice.
Key question is — What is that I need from this?
Listen to it and practice it, so that just like me you get a grasp on what you actually need, especially in the moments of distress.
