The Month of September is here,
Let’s begin by selecting a theme for this month and welcoming it accordingly.
As soon as you select one, you will find that, suddenly, from nowhere, the next video, reel, or shorts you will be watching, or the next post feed on social media, will be closely related to, or perhaps will be just the theme you have chosen.
That’s how strong the power of our subconscious mind is.
I have chosen calm, clarity and compassion. You can select the same or anything that you want, depending on what you need most in your life right now.
It can be abundance, joy, peace, rest, renewal, closure, transition, fulfillment, decision, solitude or any other.
You have to ask yourself: What theme do I want to choose this month? And to experience the effects, you have to make a conscious choice by writing it down somewhere and circling back by the end of the month.
Begin with I choose …………………………………………………….
Your reflection at the end of the month will offer you insight into how it has been unfolding in your life. This is not just a monthly activity; it can be repeated for every month or any other time period you choose.
It’s one of the simplest yet most powerful ways of being intentional and driving our lives towards where we want to.
However, you need to practice it as instructed.
What is a theme?
The theme is the underlying message or idea and centers around the main topic. What you choose for a particular month, your moments and time may center around it, unfolding in various ways in your life.
Sometimes, as information, or a perspective or a key topic you have been avoiding or seeking for a while.
The theme is often expressed in one word.
What we choose to focus on shapes the way we live; even a theme for the month can become the compass that guides our thoughts, actions, and energy
I want to close this note with a poem by Emily Dickinson. Although I’m not sure when it was published, it appears to have been between 1858 and 1860.
I’m sharing it with you today.
Enjoy the read and be joyful:)
Warmly,
Mehnaz Amjad.
