Pay attention to emotional Triggers ,that hurt.

body of water wave

Misha was extremely irritated, the sun was too warm, the wind balmy, the kitchen garden a mess, her domestic help a women full of stories to skip her work, the wardrobe a mess that never seems to be in order, the house a larger mess and the relationships ,no point even talking about it .

When she reached me , her irritation was all over , from her unkept hair to her disorderly way of life , she was falling short also on patience and jumped answering one question to the other ,without a pause, wanting to explain everything ,in her own way, her own pace and speed , a slight interruption would further irritate her .

This was difficult session, but when I asked her , to answer one question , which was about what was the trigger .

It brought a profound silence ,over her ………………………………………. a very long pause

We spoke only after a month.

Triggers reflect the root cause , which took her back to the past , the issues of her life she often struggled with ,the constant struggle of forgiving ,wronging and moving on. The fatigue that has set in ,and the lack of any motivation to dream again ,aim again or be optimistic .

Often times , it is the same emotional triggers that resonates deeply , making us instantly travel back in time and relive the experience again, as a result we behave in unimaginable weird ways, leaving people around us more perplexed and confused.

Let’s review why emotional triggers are important .

  1. It assist in digging deep, and bringing the real truth to surface
  2. It assist in understanding the root cause
  3. It explain where it all started at ,and the deep connection to the present

Using emotional triggers of Misha , we were both not only identified the hidden truths, but ended up creating a more better response to the issues she struggled with , along side also got insights of that which lie beyond the realm of control of her external world to make peace with.
