One minute acceptance

There are days when I find myself, so annoyed with the whole world around me, that I would snap at everything and everyone I ‘m in touch with

This is despite the hours of work on myself and assisting others in learning the right way to cope from crisis and build resiliency.

If you are wondering what an irony, I’ just want to second your thought.

But,

What could be the possible reasons?

As humans our life and its experience hold a unique pattern, just like no two individuals will have a same fingerprint, so is our life, it’s struggles and the healing that we try at our respective ends.

The possible reasons may vary from person to person, in my case it was an old memory triggered by a family conflict, while for someone else, it could be the same, or a mere fragrance to trigger and open up floodgates of emotions buried deep inside the recess of mind, waiting to find an outlet!

What to do next ?

What may work for me, may partially work for you too, or may not work at all

Each to its own, based on the severity and complexities involved.

Just like a strong immunity system, can protect our physical bodies from all kinds of infections and virus, the tools and mechanisms to build resiliency is to protect us in our vulnerable states.

So,

If for one of those difficult days, where our awareness and practice begins to melt and we find ourselves back in the stress mode, feeling triggered and not in the best of state of minds.

Try this, a simple method of “One minute acceptance” to begin with.

Pause, reset, and start again.

The practice of acknowledgment and acceptance can help to ground us.
