Let me help you look within.

Five years into my job, when I often found myself engaged in a deep self-talk, little did I realize that I may have appeared very satisfied and happy within my role and with people around me, hearts of hearts, something was amiss!

A successful project launch would lead to parties, gatherings, and a call for celebrations; I was also part of various non-voluntary activities and associations and won several prizes for my contribution.

But something was amiss!

The Problem

Despite being engaged around the clock with no time to breathe life, I still felt something amiss and constantly seemed to be in search of “what”?
I don’t know yet.

My search for answers I could not fully articulate continued for a very long time; even though I had a few sets of mentors, they remained confined to the professional work and feedback related to it.

I moved forward carrying a lot from my not so happy professional life and a lot from my childhood, subconsciously carrying the experiences within me. The list kept getting longer, but I remained firm with my goal to keep things to myself, which at a sub conscious level translated as keeping myself safe and protected.

I lived this protected life for a long time, appearing happy, satisfied, and content. In contrast, deep within, I lived a completely different life, very carefully stashed in a remote corner and hidden from everyone, including myself.

Results

Not many years have passed since I began to experience the results of these choked emotions, cascading its effects to every sphere of my life mostly impacting my workplace productivity.
The list was long, and I needed help finding a solution.

After another five years of struggle, when things turned from bad to worse, when I could take it no more. I decided to seek help.

My first coaching session was cathartic and very tough for me.

More than the money it was the courage I need to gather to be able to venture into my inner world in dire need of help.

Experience

I saw, my neglected self in need of a huge damage repair.

I was too moved by the condition of my scarred neglected self of years, and decided to not only heal and repair it, while I do so make it as easy as possible for anyone like me hesitant and broken to find help.

For you

Suppose you, like me, have also been stashing, hiding your emotions in some remote recess of your mind, hoping one day, the problem will automatically find a solution or get healed and sorted.
Then, my friend, it is time for a wake-up call.

I do understand how hesitant and how difficult it is for you, or, for that matter, anyone, to come out and share your story; till then, let’s begin with these three powerful questions.

Journal Prompts

Write a list of things that matter most to you?

After having the list of things that matter, ask yourself; Does this align with where you are dedicating your time and energy.

Finally,
What life do you want to create for yourself? Get clear
