Ava is stuck

On our third coaching call, I asked Ava who has more than thirteen years of experience in her field as a Senior Lead to share at least minimum 3 key reasons she feels stuck in her career.

She began to share reasons like Fatigue, feeling burnout and lack of motivation towards her new project assignment, while her appraisal’s that concluded a week ago brought her reviews which were holding subtle hints of her low average performance and a nuanced warning indicating consequences if an immediate intervention is not sought at the earliest.

Ava was very disturbed and desperately searched for help, but she was not sure where to find it, until she came across this particular learning workshop .

Our deep dive sessions went for next two consecutive weeks to fully understand the real reasons behind her angst, for this we covered a wide range of topics from her leisure activities to her spiritual inclinations.

After a month’s intensive work, we could get hold of the issue underneath.

Sometimes to know the real reason, we need a list of reasons to narrow down and get to the depth.

For this I choose a technique called the 4-step method with 13 reasons, this made our work more effective paving way for a solid solution that completely changed the trajectory of Ava’s performance issue and leadership growth.

3 Months later

Not only Ava was promoted in the shortest span of six months from the inception of our coaching work, she also successfully went on to bag a reward for her high performance and leadership for the quarter.
