This plant is as old as my grief and today it is in full bloom, laden with flowers so much so that I find it difficult to attempt to prune the over long stems that are penetrating the walls and boundaries, for every branch is blooming with flowers .
Many years ago, almost a decade has passed since, on a dull difficult day, I decided to visit a nursery for a welcome change, I love being around flowers and plants, the visit was worthwhile, but I could not find the plant I was in search of.
On my return I was in for a pleasant surprise, it was a huge pot, but with a withering bougainvillea plant .
I took the plant and kept it under a shade, and watered it regularly, I did not want to loose it ,for I was tired of loosing people and plants to death.
This plant lived on and then came a day when it could no longer survive in the pot despite its size and capacity ,so I had to break open the pot and transfer it to the earth for which I also without any second thought break the flooring creating a space for it to bloom.
Here it is today, firmly rooted ,taken care of nourished and nurtured , blooming in its glory !
These flowers always reminds me of the following
–Bloom wherever you are ; while we cannot wear them in our braids or put it in a flower vase, few things are best suited to their place of origin . So are these flowers , blooming in each branch .
–Beauty in unity ; A single flower is not very attractive as much as put a bunch of them and you have the most beautiful bunch.
— These flowers are in its complete bloom when firmly rooted ,find your origin your root and no one can stop you after that.
If you ever find yourself confused with the world around you, just look deep into the nature and you will have your answers.
