With the ongoing chaos on our planet, I find no space that offers calm, not even my meditation practice, which these days creates more boredom than focus.

Any channel you turn to has only to offer news of death, war or something worse, I do not know what that is, but all in all it is dull, demotivating and depressing.

Watching the News is like undergoing a Trauma episode and feeling helpless for days to come, so I shut it down and blocked all trolls that come my way. 

And then I’m also withdrawing from Social media, bit by bit.

Therefore, 

Even on a dull summer afternoon, I decided for a mini walk post lunch and went strolling in my backyard, searching for respite from a lot, including the harsh heat and humid weather.

This view caught my attention, and then a whiff of mild, gentle breeze made me halt there for a few seconds.

This was my moment

A Moment of Hope!

The very first thought that crossed my mind viewing these clouds was of Hope.

Hope– something we all seem to be in search of!

These passing golden clouds carried moisture and with just the right amount of sunshine that won’t hurt, but soothe, the humidity that turned the environment a little less warm, and in a few seconds, there were droplets of rain on the parched dry land, satiating the parched throat of land seeking relief.

 I soaked into the moment, carrying the same hope back in the day, that one day, hopefully better sense may prevail in our fellow beings, let our kind, compassionate self dominate our bloated egos, let the war grounds be replaced by peace, let sufferings end and let there be a way out for life to grow and prosper.
