John became recently unemployed ,yet, he did not turn up for two of the interviews lined up at one of the top firms, and in another interview, he gave vague answers demonstrating a very poor performance .

Besides being the only caregiver to his elderly parents and bread winner of his other three dependents, John was forcibly dragging himself to interviews .His reluctance, lack of interest and energy showed up, and he was being politely rejected everywhere .

During our coaching sessions, when we did not make any breakthrough for two straight months, I had to put John to a deep root analysis method, it was a bit overwhelming for him in the beginning, but as we progressed , he ended up learning a lot about his own self , along with the real reason ,hidden deep inside him for several years.

He could now connect the dots ,things made a lot of sense, looking at the picture as a solved jigsaw puzzle brought him clarity ,something that he was frantically in search of for years.

Loosing a job ,especially one in which one may have worked real hard to reach a particular rank, but then end up in a humiliating exit are very common real life scenarios of today’s corporate world, John’s story was no different.

Job loss not only causes deep grief ,when the grief stays on beyond time ,it begins to cascade down to other key areas of life, like relationships ,mental health , leading to development of limiting beliefs .to the extent that it may linger on for several years to come, majorly influencing decisions and choices ,sometimes even keeping people stuck in a particular belief limiting one’s own potential.
