In our previous edition, we evaluated and found our incomplete tasks, goals, ideas, and dreams.
We also learned that Acceptance is not an option, but a required step to find inner peace, closure, and the ability to move forward.
So,
How do we practice acceptance?
Let’s start by first understanding what it actually means, and next, how we put it into practice.
Meaning of Acceptance
Acceptance is the act of embracing reality as it is — acknowledging situations, people, or ourselves without denial, resistance, or unnecessary judgment. It doesn’t mean agreement or surrender; it means making peace with what is, so we can move forward with clarity and strength.
Acceptance is an abstract decision and one of the most effective ways to find inner peace, fulfilment and contentment.
When you accept, you DECIDE!
You decide that you will no longer be part of the endless chatter of the mind, second-guessing, evaluating and ruminating, especially on what’s beyond your control.
Instead, you choose ……....What is.…. over What could be…
Here’s a real-life case study of someone just like you. This was my work with Suman. Watch the video here and practice acceptance at every cycle of the wave.
